Tutu's and floof

There couldn't be a more fitting party theme for Brooklyne... From "Cars" To "Pink-and-Brown Ballerina's" .... Her choice, I was thrilled about it, look how fun everything turned out!

For Starters: I just HAPPENED to own this ballerina stamp set (special thanks to Grandma Z. on that one!)

And only chocolate will do for Brooklyne, so, triple chocolate miniature bundt cakes, with buttercream pink on top!
Oh yes, the beloved tu-tu.... I really did enjoy making these. I MAY not enjoy making any more in my lifetime, but these I did!
Ah, those pink and brown beauties again. And honestly, I thought they were quite tastey myself, I had two, which is unusualy for me, I'm usually not into cakey-frostingy things.

And here are the fancy ballerina's themselves! Alright, we're missing one, she wouldn't stand in the group pic (Don't worry I DID get one of her though! I'm not THAT mean!)

I can't Believe that Brooklyne is 4... 4 years old... where has all the time gone? Well, it's been enjoyable (looking back at it as a whole, not in little pieces!) Brooklyne is a very sweet girl, stubborn and slightly moody, but man nothing will make you laugh more than the crazy faces she makes or the things she says. I'm so blessed to have her as one of my daughters.

Is it Christmas still?

Well, it's not. And it really doesn't even feel like it with the nice weather we've had recently. However, I am finally posting a re-cap of the holidays events... Or rather the first hour or two of Christmas morning. Apparently that's all I had in me to capture... whatever. Oh yes, and the reason it's waited so long... remember my compact flash drive being broken? No folks, it's not "fixed" but the problem is solved. Leave it to a computer-guy to get AROUND the problem. Bottom line=I can post pictures so I am temporarily happy.

Here goes:

Remember that "Santa" Project that I was ever-so-ancy about? It was getting to build these master-piece.....

However, my long-awaited excitement quickly turned into irratated frustration, when the stupid thing was SO hard to put together. I eventually had to have..... Santa help me... the Mrs. can't do it ALL herself. And then my frustrations were validated when some friends said they had the same assembly problems as we did... poor design? poor instructions? Are we all idiots?

This beauty is, well, a beauty. And hey, check out that red snow flake on her shirt? Yeah, I hand embroidered that on. ALong with another for Madison to match. I mean, it goes with all our rockin' PJ pants.... go on check them out... no, not matchy-match, but Holiday spirited nonethless.
Oh yes, many a few have asked about the BIG GIFT from the Christmas Heart Angel Tree, Of course Santa put it together and charged the battery for us, Tristan LOVED it! (still does!) What a great gift, right? Not to mention all the other things too!

Funny, it's like he doesn't even know what to do next.... If only the car needed a jump right then...

Tristan was not the only one who loved the new ride-on-mobile, now known as the motorcycle. The big girls love it too, they technically still fit within the weight limits, but you can hear the motor really working! I love to see them push Tristan around though, totally cute. She doesn't really know how to make it go. She knows which button to press, but she won't actually press it. She'll point at it, and want you to come make it go for her!

Well, MERRY CHRISTMAS all! I know, 2 months later, it's old news, but hey, this is the first I've seen of the pictures!

Boring after all?

Alright, well, I guess January wasn't as boring as I thought after all. Back toward the beginning of the month we got some news that caught us off guard.... we found out that we were unexpectantly expecting again. I mean, it was high time for another one anyway, right? (Right.)

I've had a harder time containing myself this time as it seems I actually have lots of people that I am wanting to tell. But also, TJ was leaking the secret all over church today, so we better just get it out in the open!!

We actually only found out the nite before TJ left town, which made for a brutal 2 1/2 weeks without him around. The only reason anyone was suspect to doing a test was that I had been complaining about my stomach being upset for a few days, so TJ finally suggested that I do a test to rule that out. Rather it ended up being the answer, oh well. I can't complain too much, the morning sickness had a chance to set in on it's own, therefore I didn't start feeling sick until after 8 weeks, and didn't find out I was actually pregnant until 9 weeks... who could ask for anything better? I only have to suffer for a month or so and then it'll be over! Ha!

So, there's our boring, old, exciting, January news... I should never again say it's a boring month! August shall be another exciting month this year... Maybe our family will be graced with a brother!

Oh yeah, and P.S. -- don't tell TJ the secret if you want to keep it a secret!!
